Entwined

Somewhere, I can hear her lovely lilting

A dear saccharine voice within my mind

That precious song, tells me what she's bringing

I’ll be waiting right here, for her to find

She's up there someplace, soaring high above

I buried below her, in the cool leaves

On brilliant white wings, always my adoring love

My still heart waits, beneath the curving eves

To Mother Earth, useless bones returned

Eternally, each spirit shall be free

Our preordained lessons for this life, learned

Rising with her, to sail the cosmic sea

Entwined, we continue eternal flight

Immortal incarnations, again we’ll alight
