Light reflecting upon water
Seabirds gliding about the dock
Heavy clouds hanging in grey shades
Sunday morning meditation
The sound of cool calming raindrops
Soothing my old and troubled soul
I sit and watch the shadowed sea
Trying to ease my boyish heart
A piano and violin
Provide my soundtrack to just think
Pondering some old yesterday
Wondering what tomorrow brings

Toe to Heel Will Not Meet
There will come a peculiar day
When the proverbial sound track
Seems to no longer match the play
Twill be a subtle change of beat
Listen carefully, you shall hear
Righteous toe to heel will not meet

The Old Rules
The old rules created by the men in powdered wigs worked well to justify genocide, land grabbing, the slave trade, and table manners. But, it's hoped that we're beyond that now. ~G. Jones
Social Media
Social Media is the false, synthetic universe we create for ourselves, to hide the fact we've chosen the blue pill option, and accepted the consumer slavery of the corporate matrix. ~G. Jones

The Wagging Tail of the Future
A boy and his dog walking the woods
Both iridescent upon matter
Intrinsically psychedelic
Among the tall grass of their culture
Random doubts and underage heartache
The desperate angst of the unknown
Clusters of thoughts and aimless wisdom
The world collapses behind their heels
Desperate battles with ignorance
Twisted poverty and mad mindsets
Traps of words leave deadly logos
Sea of challenge is their horizon
